I really like to way your brain works. We're not current working on improving the workspaces, however, if we do some of your ideas might be very handy.

That is a bunch of pretty great ideas. Some of them are already at the back of our minds. I can't say if or when we will implement them, as each requires its own analysis but I will keep you posted on the forum, whenever there will be something new.

You're correct. Browser is a complex thing and adding dark mode to all of it's parts in a pretty consuming task. That is why we are doing it gradually.

Every month, more parts of the UI will support dark mode as well.

• No implementation of chromium 141 fix of Content area flashes white when changing or re-opening tabs -> We're gradually updating the Chromium engine. However, it might take some time to get to 141. Anyways, we're on it.

• No plans of implementation second most asked feature after Dark Mode - Tab Islands - Session Buddy extension type of feature -> We're not planning to add Tab Islands or Session Buddy type of extension in upcoming future.

Most likely, but not officially confirmed, YouTube has implemented a mechanism that is causing lags whenever someone is using some ad blocker.

Compare performance with disabled ad blocker and let us know if you see the difference.

Thanks for sharing this idea.

It's actually the first time, someone is requesting such a feature for Opera AIR; therefore, it's not a part of the current roadmap.

However, we gather all such ideas and analyze them for the future.

Is there anyone that feels the same as @oddlyodie ?

We made another dark mode update. Adding Force Dark Pages and dark mode in the settings.
More dark mode parts of the browser are still coming.

I think "a lot" is not a precise statement. I understand there are other browsers out there that consume less resources. However, they might not offer such amount of features/ frosted glass design and such.

This is tab behavior across all Operas. On Mac, it's on the left to mimic Safari and make a more natural experience for Mac users.

This is a general rule and won't be changed any time soon.

All the other parts you mentioned are in progress and soon will be dark too.

Settings were first as they are quit big a took some time.

If we don't support something now, it doesn't mean it won't change in the future.

Workspaces or keyboard shortcuts should work the same.

Android Opera - It's not a part of the current roadmap. If we keep growing, we would like to make it 1 day.

We also don't include currently Tab Islands and multiple speed dials, as in our opinion they don't fit the minimalistic vision of this browser.

Split Screen - is on our roadmap and will be added at some point, but I can't say when.

However, we're launching many new features every month. So stay tuned.

Could you share specification of your computer? CPU type, RAM and so?
