Hello again after 5 months of silence Im satisfied with 95 build none Portable version

This folder of Opera Portable however have a serious problem i cant identify
when clicking launcher exe or opera.exe it will open browser but close down browser after 15 seconds, then it does a new attempt and autorestarts after the crash, and crash again after 15 seconds, it does this 3 or 4 times in a row, after that it will stop the autorestart attempts and you need to klick the exe file again if you wanna restart theauto closedown cycle

It does this without ant error message.
Can you extract some error report with leads? out of Opera

When i cant get into the browser it makes it hard to have time to extract and transfer the
unsaved data like all bookmarks that needs to be exported and saves as a html file on my computer.
Here you can see the folder to see if you can see any traces of files that may trigger the autoclosedown, either some files need to be removed or replaced or what do you think?

could be inside the profile folder also

That app are actually not installed on this version of Opera "Version:95.0.4635.90"
(cause this Opera v cant no longer install Chrome extensions in Windows 7)

However this session file with all blocked URL's are transplanted from
Opera Portable upgraded to "Version:95.0.4635.90 where i indeed had
Tab Session Manager installed

I think what i gotta do is rather extract the real URLs out of the addon-text so i could in worst case just manually downright the real URLs, do anyone know some extensions or script that can bring back original link info out of URLS that indeed show some leads when i double klick the blocked URL cause they extend themselves like this, but i need more info

You can try to solve that problem first. Anyway, there should be some session manager extensions that you can used, including the ones in Chrome Store.

I just remember now how it was possible to use Session Managers and handle J.son files,

This hundreds of gray pages have been legit URLs to websites that claims they are being blocked, however a fiew of them could be fixed by pressing "reload current page" as you can see, but most of them cant be fixed this way, a lead to the problem is probably this new nonsense words in the URL "iaiomicjabeggjcfkbimgmglanimpnae" that have been blocked and therefore adds "replaced" to the URL

Since it says the page have been blocked by Opera i think i should exclude that its Spybot Search and Destroy or any antivirus programs on this computer that's behind it.

The background is this, im currently using Opera Version:95.0.4635.90 here but this "sessions" file is a copy and paste backup that was created in old Opera Portable for Windows 7 (64 bit), but Opera Portable was never installed on the computer, it was a ZIP file i just unpacked and clicked launcher.exe and then started to build up this session

I have not used Opera for 6 months now, and im going to restart from scratch, but did i really dare to store my 900 open pages in my sessions if there would not have been any other way than to rely on manually backup the file "Current Session" and "Last Session"?

Okay thanks i found it, your strange installer with a picture! of an opened opera interface, when i didnt find "options" in my installer i as you can see in my previous screenshot was forced to consider the farfetched possibility that the picture was a screenshot from inside your opended and allready installed Opera and its internal settings well operators have implemented unessesary feats before according to me

This is how my shit looks like, and now im going to reinstall

Where is that option window in the opera setup?

To me it sounds like the things you want me to do are 2 separate operations?
Create a portable installer is a pre-installation meassure

And the second operation to relocate profile folder is where i find the change path that you want me to do in the first operation and i go through the shortcut (but then its allready installed)

For the portable version, you'd normally goto https://www.opera.com/download#opera-usb and download Opera_PortableSetup.exe and then install it where you want it. However, since you're on Windows 7, I don't know if that setup file will give you version 95 that's compatible with Windows 7.

So, instead, you can goto https://www.opera.com/download#opera-95 to download the offline package listed there to get the normal, non-portable 95 installer. Then, when you launch it, you click "options", change the "install path" to where you want and change "install for" to "standalone installation" to make it a portable install. I dont want to maka safecopys, so when you say

I hope you mean Opera will keep updating new profile data to that chosen folder location and not keep storing in the C/profile (why cant that older be rather moved to the new location?)

If you want to copy your profile files from a portable install:
Make sure the folders at "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable" and "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Opera Software\Opera Stable" are empty.

I find this text part wery confusing

I used Opera portable version from 2021 before i was forced to reinstall windows 7 recentley, i knew there were probably going to be problem to continue where i left of by just clicking opera.exe or launcher.exe since this installation lies on none-system harddrive

Which means if its not installed on system through the Opera installer.exe it will not create any directory in C: Username/appdata/profile/local/Programs/Opera......i figure this is one possibe exlanation to why Opera portable when i launch it from F:/
start the browser but then autoclose it again after 7 seconds and then it try to restart Opera 5 times with same autoclosure before it gives up

So i figure i can either

1: Copy my old Opera folder i saved from Username/appdata/profile/local/Programs/Opera
and just copy that same folder to that empty directory on new Windows 7 installation
Is it required with Opera Portable to have the profile folder on C?

2: Reinstall Opera Portable start it and let it create a new profile then
copy and replace the folder and hope that will stop this closedown

@lillollo Auto-refresh refers to any tab - even active tabs, Some sites regularly update with new information. On newer "dynamic" sites they do that without having to reload the full page, but on older sites they did that by setting an "auto-refresh" timer. Sometimes the time they chose was really silly, like every 30 seconds on one auction site I remember (you couldn't read through half the page in that time, and when it refreshed it always went back to the top}. On others they didn't set any refresh time and should have. The extension you're looking at is for that - sites that don't use dynamic content but need to be refreshed at a different rate than they are set for.

Okay, can you also explain this phenomen, youtube have just gone crazy again for me on a particular video, and its triggered after me restarting Opera, every time i return to that paused 5 hours video! now it first reverse!! back to an earlier spot at 1 hour, and that was my pause moment for 5 days ago, some kind of manually klick? inside youtube on Opera seem to make Opera without ask save a spot! for later on....a spot that it will allways restart from! in that video, and it aint from the beginning, and it aint the present time either, its an intermediate time

All i know is that i wanna make Opera to stop behaving as it does by deafult and that
is every time i swap between tabs, it will after several minutes have passed
auto-reread the tab, but only!! when re-enter that particular tab, Im not sure if the phenomen you call refresh means the same thing as re-read???

What i mean with re-read is that if im listening to a podcast or watch a youtube video and then paus it in that tab....it will restart the mediaplayer from time-stamp zero agaon after i i return next time to that tab to continue playing.

@burnout426 Renaming the profile-folder did not automaticly create that new profile inside the Opera portal folder, it must be somewhere in C: local profile, i became afraid but managed to get back to my old-profile, i saw the problem is not inside the new profile, its not present in
