First of all, i cannot use this forums feat "Upload image"

"Error something went wrong with while parsing server responce"
      why?

So i was forced to upload my screendump of how my problem looks like to hosting site

Note! I have Opera portable (i have not even installed it, i start it from my HD by clicking on the icon.exe that use to be installed on my previous Win 7 installation)

So what you see on this screenshot is how it looks like
      https://imgur.com/DsYShDG
when nothing happens after i enter a URL and press enter, it will just ignore what i wrote, delete it and re-insert the URL the page contained before i tried to leave and instead refresh that page.

What i have been manage to expect from all modern web-browsers is
to just write a word and it will take me to google if its not a full URL

While Opera is closed, inside the install folder, rename the "profile" folder to "profileold". Then, start Opera and see if things work fine. If so, you know the problem is in your profile folder. After you're done testing, you can close Opera, delete the new "profile" folder and rename your old one back. Then, you can investigate further what's wrong with your profile.

If the problem still happens with a new profile folder, you'll need to make a new portable installation and test to make sure it works fine. If so, you can delete its profile folder and copy over your profile folder from your other portable install and see if things work fine. If so, you'll be good to go and you can delete the problem portable installation.

@lillollo said in Cant 'enter' URLs, must search:

How can i copy alla my open 100 pages to this new arbetsyta?

              Method 1:

Right-click on one of your opened tabs in the tab bar, goto "save" and choose "all tabs as a speed dial folder".

Then, goto the URL opera://bookmarks. At the bottom left, use the drop-down to export your bookmarks as bookmarks.html.

Then, in the new Opera profile, goto the URL opera://settings/importData, set "Bookmarks HTML file" in the drop-down, click "choose file", point it to bookmarks.html, and then import. Then, on the the opera://bookmarks page, find the imported speed dial folder, right-click on it, and choose "open all in tab".

              Method 2:

Delete all files in the "sessions" folder in the "profile/data" folder for the new profile. Then, copy all files in the "sessions" folder from the old "profile/data" folder, and paste them into the "sessions" folder in the new profile.

That's weird. Are you using the official Opera portable from opera.com or the unofficial one from https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/opera_portable?

In Opera though, you can always goto the URL opera://about and look at the "profile" path to see where the profile folder is at.
