Are you saying anything with a Chromium base will act up when uninstalled and the reinstalled?
No. All Chromium based browser have multiple instances. That is how they work. It is normal, not a bug or failure.
If you are not paying for the product then someone is paying for it on your behalf. Opera makes money by selling speed sponsored dials and search engines. When Opera updated it added the new speed dial to the list because that sponsor had paid for it since you last installed Opera. If you remove it, it should not come back.

I agree. It was MUCH SIMPLER when it was the old "MyOpera" version. I do NOT have anything against change.

What if you are already a sophisticated user and have your own icons and avatars??
Why is it that Opera cannot put back some of the features that were present in the old accounts??
They were MUCH simpler and easier to use. In addition, it addresses Security Concerns about Gravatar.com and Automattic hosted Web sites.
