I'm on 40.0.2308.90 now, still exactly the same issue. Seems a lot of people are struggling with video in Opera. I've switched to Chrome now, it works fine

Twitter videos won't playOpera for Windows
I'm sad to say I'm getting increasingly frustrated with Opera to the extent I'm about to give up.
I like the VPN but it's annoying that when I switch it on and off, it resets the Plugin setting to "Click to Play". I now can't play videos on Twitter at all, it simply gives the message "The media could not be played".
I'm also getting regular page crash issues - disabling all extensions seems to make no difference.
I'm using version 0.0.2308.81 on Windows 10, though if these issues can't be resolved I'm switching to Chrome

RE: "Out of memory" errorFuture releases
It happens regularly - I just looked at the task manager, what am I looking for? It seems to happen on any page - it even happens sometimes when I open speed-dial, ie a blank page. I have to close and reopen Opera for it to go away.

"Out of memory" errorFuture releases
I'm using Opera Developer 42.0.2372.0 on Windows 10 - ever since the recent Opera update I've been getting "out of memory" page crash error. My computer has plenty of memory and it doesn't seem to show a memory spike in system resources.

RE: Whats this with The VPNOpera for Linux
I'm finding the inbuilt VPN very useful. It should be particularly good for countries where browsing access is restricted.

RE: search by voiceOpera for Windows
I was just going to ask this. Why the f* doesn't Opera have voice search any more?! Opera was way ahead of the game in 2007 when it had voice browsing, but I suppose back in the day people didn't use it.
But now Opera have given up and it's basically just a shell surrounding Google's Chromium platform, why doesn't it include Google's voice searching too? I guess the answer is that Google voice search goes through Google's servers, and Opera can't do that, which is a shame.
There's one possible solution: install the "Download Chrome Extension" extension which allows you to download extensions from the Chrome store, and use a third party extension like "Voice Actions for Chrome", if you can get it to work.

RE: OPERA Developer Version 39.0.2234.0 VPN ISSUESFuture releases
I'm having the opposite problem. When I open Opera Developer 39 (the latest update, whatever it is), there's no VPN button, but the VPN seems automatically switched on in the normal windows. I'm in the UK but previously set it to Netherlands, and it's stuck on Netherlands so I can't watch the BBC. To do so I have to open a Private window with VPN switched off!

RE: Speed dials won't syncOpera for Android
I'm just moving to a new PC, and I naively assumed my speed dials (my main method of saving the sites I visit most often) would sync with it. Not so - wtf, Opera? I can understand not everyone may want to sync their speed dials and bookmarks, but that's what you have sync options for!
Very annoyed my speed dials don't appear on my new PC.
I notice all the default speed dials are spammy ads (Skybet, Investing.com, Ladbrokes Sports?) - so I suspect the reason we can't sync is because Opera has sold this as an advertising space!

How to remove downloads from list?Opera for Windows
How do you remove downloads from the Download list? There seems no way of doing it other than hitting Clear, which gets rid of everything.
There have been a couple of times when I've accidentally started downloading something twice. I can Pause the second download, but there's no way of removing it! This seems like an obvious design flaw.
