@leocg My fault again.
By "any given page" I meant pages that contain an article, not the main page or other article-list type pages. I obviously do not expect reading mode availability on those pages. Sorry for not being precise enough.
Thanks.

RE: Reader mode availabilityOpera for Android
@leocg I understand that reader mode may not be available on all pages in general, but that is not what I am talking about.
Maybe I did not make myself clear:
For any given webpage on the site I mentioned- reader mode is not available when there is page history in the tab the page is opened in (link was opened by simply tapping on it) and
- reader mode is available when there is no page history in the tab the same page is opened in (link was opened in new tab).
Go and try it!
So, why is this the case? -
Reader mode availabilityOpera for Android
On some websites (i.e: magyarnemzet.hu) the availability of reader mode for pages seem to depend on browsing history in the current tab. I.e. when I just open a link reader mode is not available, but when I open the same link in a new tab (no history) reader mode becomes available for the same page.
Is this OK?Thanks.

Summarize web-page function reading up page summaryBugs
Hi,
Summarize web-page function sometimes reads up the summary it creates from an article, sometimes it does not. I can't figure out why. The behavior is the same for both English and Hungarian language articles/pages.
Any ideas?
Thank You.(Android 13, Samsung OneUI 5.1, latest Opera for Android)

RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
@donq
Thanks.
And where is "Other devices" menu now? -
RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
Instead, there is a "Search on tabs" magnifier icon/button, which I do not need. There seems to be no way to change this in Settings.
I hope it's just a bug of the latest update and not a new "feature".
Or is it?Thanks.

RE: Opera for Android 52Opera for Android
Hi,
I can't help, but bring up the issue of the new "improved" tab gallery again, because it made me revert back to v.51 a second time already.
Perhaps I am missing the point here, so I would like to ask someone from Opera to please explain, just how (or why) is the new tab gallery better than the old one.
In particular how the title bar (1) in the new gallery is better than the tab title (2) in the old gallery???Thank You,

It's good to hear that You always want to improve Opera.
However, do not make the mistake of thinking that, just because something looks trendy and nice it is automatically more usable, than the less trendy version was.
Especially, You must not sacrifice any usability for the sake of nice looks or trendy design.
An app is not a piece of art, that I just want to look at and enjoy how nice it looks.
Primarily I want to use an app.
I only care about trends as long as they do not have a bad influence on usability.

RE: Opera for Android 52Opera for Android
Thanks for the update.
Improvements are always nice, but the new tab gallery is worse than the previous one, both visually (light background) and functionally (needless tab title bars can hold less text, compared to how it was before). If it's not broke, don"t fix it!
If you can not improve it, why change it?
Going back to the previous version.
I sincerely hope Opera is not going to be next app I have to stop updating...
Regards.
