In latest dev (56.0.3026.0) option (flag) to disable this horrible behavior is gone (or at least I couldn't find it), thereby I request this option (disabling scroll on tab click) reinstated. Thank you!

RE: Non-Official Opera browser feature surveySuggestions and feature requests
"Sign in to your Google account to fill out this form" - but if I don't have google account, what then?
And RE: "This is NOT an official Opera survey. There is no guarantee that the company will take this into account in decision makings." - do you think Opera devs take any results of official surveys into account?
RE: Readability issueForum feedback
For me too - please use black text and somewhat more weighty font. This everywhere recommended (darker) gray on (lighter) gray makes my eyes hurt.
Another problem (I don't want to create just new topic, because this is readabilty issua too) - can you add some settings to avoid wasting space? Unused areas around and between single posts waste maybe 60% of screen estate and break text flow - sure I could hack your CSS a bit, but some configuration options would benefit other users too.
RE: Uninstall Opera makes Microsoft Excel 2013 not working ProperlyOpera for Windows
You can record registry differences with https://sourceforge.net/projects/regshot/, it allows to create registry change scripts too. Much easier to compare than export files.
RE: 'Default Exceptions' To Blocked AdsOpera for Windows
Why would North Americans use Yandex and Baidu when there are plenty of AMERICAN Search engines/email services?
Maybe, just maybe - maybe not all Opera users are north-american. Maybe even most Opera users are not american - but there is actually only single version of Opera, not different ones for different countries/regions, thereby including some worldwide important sites seems quite reasonable to me.
RE: WHY CAN"T YOU GUYS MAKE A HOME BUTTON?Opera for Windows
MOST users want one.
I would not be so sure. Since ancient times, when some browsers (remember Opera?) allowed to just continue from last session, I have seen no need in home button... Well, example of single entity (me) doesn't qualify as MOST either.
This doesn't mean that I am against home button - I can see uses for it. It just should be optional - to allow hide it and conserve some space.
RE: Beta vs StableOpera for Windows
Well, I had not looked at changelog - looks like my assumption was incorrect, sorry.
But then yes, I too agree that Opera should release beta (and dev) version, matching stable (and beta) one. I'm on dev channel and actually don't care so much - but current scheme is not logical.
RE: Wasted space - Sidebars, Extensions and Easy SetupOpera for Windows
Cannot agree more.
I personally would also like to have option to hide "Start page" and "Snapshot" icons/buttons (and maybe even make validated certificate issuer name shorter, tooltip could be used) - I'd rather see full url than some never used buttons.
And no, I don't want to buy wider monitor
RE: Opera causing 100% CPU even when Opera is closedOpera for Windows
I can see at least two possible causes:
- some problem with video drivers - disable hardware acceleration in Opera
- some problem with third party antivirus or security suite, which doesn't know Opera and monitors its network traffic or disk access - add Opera to its exclusions
How about Chrome browser - does it cause excessive CPU usage?
RE: [Solved]Deleted desktop icon back on every updateOpera for computers
Good idea. Edited that and waiting for next update.
Like some other people, I also never enable/install desktop shortcuts and from some time ago Opera started putting it on my (or rather all users) desktop - I consider that a bug.
Update: Opera updated, icon is back, again on all users desktop. F-word here. I need to find another solution.
