Thanks so much for all of the replies, being perfectly honest with you I just recently started using opera again after noy having done so for quite some time, and quite frankly I'm actually enjoying it. Opera may not be as popular as some other mainstream chromium browsers but then again I thing it's got some great features. Now back to my current issue I really don't know what to try next, one of the replies mentioned it might possible be a conflict with a add-on / extension & I do for a fact have this one that I regularly use on at least one other chromium based browser so I can have instant access to my saved bookmarks: https://tinyurl.com/2bfzbsy8 I guess it might be possible that this could be causing my current issue.

My question is concerning why my saved bookmarks favicon images aren't displaying properly, they are showing what appears to be a type of a square with a line displayed from corner to corner. I'm enclosing a screenshot of what I'm seeing.

@sgunhouse I wish the browser development team would clarify the fact concerning opera one so other users won't get confused about the versions like I was.

@sgunhouse Thanks for the clarification,I thought I had downloaded the wrong version. It had been a while since I had tried opera, I'm really liking it so far.

I was trying to install the latest opera one version, so I performed a search & was taken to this page: https://www.opera.com/one but unless I'm not understanding something I actually didn't install opera one but just the most recent 'stable' version of opera ( 117.0.5408.35 ). So my question is this did I in fact actually install opera one ?

Please add an option in settings so user's can autohide the sidebar or at least add a setting so user's can toggle the sidebar to open & close

Surely some other user is having the same issue that I'm having, there must be some way to correct this issue.

On my start page some of the saved item's display their images properly, but some of them don't. Has anyone else had this same issue, and if so were you able to correct the issue. I'm enclosing a screenshot of what I'm currently seeing for your reference.

This addon would be perfect if there was just some way to sync addons when changing to a different version of opera, I really thought by now that the opera developers would have included the syncing of addons/extensions in the synchronization feature of the browser like most other modern browsers already do.

I still wish that the developers of opera would include the addition of addons in the syncing mechanism like quite a few of the other modern browsers have already added .

I'm still holding out for the ability to be able to sync installed addons when changing to a different version of opera, at least for me that would make the opera browser that much better as well as more competitive with some different mainstream browsers that are currently available in the browser marketplace.

I knew by adding my comment that some kind soul would provide me with a valid answer, since I enjoyed using this feature in the stable version I feel pretty sure that at some point hopefully in the near future it will get implemented in the developer version. Thank You !!

I just installed the latest developer version on my windows 11 desktop computer this morning, I already had the latest stable version installed. With the developer version I wanted to enable the experimental AI option, so far I'm not finding any kind of setting with a reference to 'Early Access' so I can enable this feature.

I'm hoping that at some point in the very near future that the opera software developers will add a needed feature in settings like other chromium based browsers already have available. That feature is some kind of mechanism to block videos from playing automatically. I've already installed an extension to keep html5 videos from playing automatically.

Is there anyway to delete the inactive addons in the extensions area of this page: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/ at least for me that's why I see the favicon images appear broken on those particular inactive sites. I'm enclosing a screenshot of just a sampling of what I see on that page while I'm using opera for windows beta version 95.0.4635.15, I'm not really sure who in fact is responsible for keeping the opera addon pages updated, and it might in fact be some kind of a community type of effort to do so.
