Opera has been my browser for many years, but that's going to change. It's just too prone to break down. True, I can usually fix the problems, but why should that be necessary so often?

Face it, Opera is unreliable, and my experience is that it has to be re-installed every few months to keep operating properly.

Opera is pretty, and it's fast, but that last reinstallation did it for me. I'm now going to look for a browser that will function for years without having to be reinstalled.
PS: Oh, yeah, I also want a browser that is recognized everywhere.

Is there a section of Opera Forum where I can expect prompt and informed opinions? If it's a "pay for service," section, that's fine, just let me know how much it will cost. I'd rather pay for help than wait around for days for help that will never come.(Mon, May 6, 2024)

All of the icons in the far-left column work, except for the ChatGPT icon. It just doesn't work today, but I had no problems with it until I turned my computer on this morning,

facebook messenger, Instagram, X (formerly Facebook), Sis]debar setup

Opera has been my browser for many years, so my History with Opera should be lengthy. Not anymore. Starting today, my history with Opera only goes back to what I have posted today.

Is this fixable? Is it possible to retrieve my past history with Opera? Oh, and I should mention that when I try to retrieve past history, the screen displays only one word, "ERROR."

ChatGPT. I have lost all of my conversations with ChatGPT, and it seems very likely that the problem might be caused by Opera. How can I check on this?

I don't know if it's true that the contributors to the Opera forum are really the most ignorant, vulgar and low-class of any browser forum contributors, but I've seen enough. Opera is my preferred browser, but I've had enough of these low-life jackasses. Generally, I'm against censorship, but the Opera forum is what happens when no one takes any account of what is posted here.

Goodbye forum. I've seen enough--too much--of you, and I am happily closing this unpleasant chapter of my viewing experience.

I don't know about that, but from right to left, I now have the following in the top row of my Opera Home Page: Extensions, PDF, web Apps by 123apps, view manual, pureVPN. Ground News Explorer, Fakes Spot, Opera Settings, Opera Account

I think I've done it. I tried to follow your instructions as much as possible, and they took me to some very promising pages. I don't yet know what I have done, but things are looking good. Now I just have to learn how to use or access the several things I clicked on. I'll take it from here. Thanks again.

Someone else also gave me advice, different advice, but I didn't know what to make of it. Anyway, I think I'm almost finished.

Now, my biggest problem is how to post my comments. I usually manage to do it eventually, but there must be a shorter, easier way. Click on Enter?

I'm not surprised.

I've been trying to unsubscribe from the forum for five minutes, but I just keep getting ways to subscribe, or variants of that idea. I Don't Want To Have Anything More To Do With The Forum. It's not that I hate it; it's just that I now view it as useless clutter.

Please unsubscribe me from the forum. Everyone else can do it with one click. Way does the Forum make it necessary for me to write my Congressman ?

I've made my peace with Opera. You just have to weigh the pros and cons and then decide. Opera is quick and beautiful.
Against that, it goes haywire after several months and has to be reinstalled. When I learned to stop trying to fix it and just reinstall it, my problems were over.
