To me, that's ancient history. Today , I lost my Opera browser about two hours ago. The background is that they had been telling me that the last Opera update a few weeks ago had not been installed correctly and to do it again. Well, I had other things to do, so I ignored them. However, I got tired of their constant nagging on this subject, so I tried to install their update again today. That was at least two hours ago, and I haven't had Opera since then. This is the 3rd time they've screwed me. The first time was when they lost my Bookmarks (That Hurt !). The second time they lost my Home Page, and the last time, so far, is when I lost my Opera Browser.

I apologize for being rude to you. Opera gets me angry, but that's no reason for me to take things out on people like you, people who are trying to be helpful. Sorry. -
RE: General Opera Feedback TopicOpera for computers
I finally found the way, the only way, to deal with Opera's deficiencies: Delete And Reinstall.
It’s Simple. Don’t waste any time trying fix it. Just Delete And Reinstall.
When it goes haywire, and it will, count on it, just delete it and start over.
How often will this have to be done? That’s hard to say, but don’t expect it to perform properly for more than three months.

RE: General Opera One Feedback TopicGeneral
Opera has been my browser for many years, but that's going to change. It's just too prone to break down. True, I can usually fix the problems, but why should that be necessary so often?
Face it, Opera is unreliable, and my experience is that it has to be re-installed every few months to keep operating properly.
Opera is pretty, and it's fast, but that last reinstallation did it for me. I'm now going to look for a browser that will function for years without having to be reinstalled.
PS: Oh, yeah, I also want a browser that is recognized everywhere.

I want to unsubscribe from the ForumForum feedback
I've been trying to unsubscribe from the forum for five minutes, but I just keep getting ways to subscribe, or variants of that idea. I Don't Want To Have Anything More To Do With The Forum. It's not that I hate it; it's just that I now view it as useless clutter.
Please unsubscribe me from the forum. Everyone else can do it with one click. Way does the Forum make it necessary for me to write my Congressman ?

Where is "My Flow"?Opera for Mac
Where can I find "My Flow"? Sometimes a dropdown menu includes, "Save text to My Flow. Where is it? Where can I find the saved text?

RE: General Opera Feedback TopicOpera for computers
I keep giving Opera a chance, but Opera keeps taking that opportunity to kick me in the rear end. Just now, I just had to Again switch my default browser From Opera. Why? Well, Opera has never been at a loss to find ways to screw things up, and it recently found another. I've never found another browser that Consistently and Unfailingly managed to make it impossible to use.. Never, Not even close. If you stay with Opera for, say, three months, it will fail you.
How is it that I started using the Username Damnyou? One guess.
Why do I keep trying? Only two reasons: Opera is fast and Opera is beautiful. If only i could add, "Opera works." Slim chance of that.

Good for you. I have to fix it Again today (Wed Dec 29,2021). It lost my start-up page, which is the glory of Opera...
when it works.
I might add that Opera had been my default browser, but I had to change to another browser because of the many problems I encountered using Opera. Anyway, today I briefly made it my default browser again, hoping that that would bring back my Spes Dial. Nope, that didn't work, so I'm now going to switch back to Vivaldi.
