So I really enjoyed when I had the speed dial next to the reload and other navigation buttons, how can I get this back? Honestly, I'm going to switch back to firefox or something else because of that. Having it way down on the side is super inconvenient. Anyone know how to fix that or is it permanent? Literally every web browser has a home button, except this one, and it's so frustrating to do 3 extra steps just to get back to my speed dial tabs.

man they really really screwed the pooch on this one. time to migrate everything over to another browser. thanks for breaking it even more devs. so frustrating, had everything setup and only minor issues that i could deal with. now i have to completely reinvent how i use it because of those idiotic changes they made. Here's an old say, if it's not broke, don't fix it.

@himmelsheriff it has been two weeks. and the search bar is broken. worst update ever. im done.

So I just did a fresh install on windows, thinking it might solve some issues only to create more. Now opera will not save anything in speed dial, nor will it save my bookmarks. Well it saved the first few things I put in there, Now all of a sudden I add a few more and they disappear the next day. I saved all my work website address, twice now, only to wake up the next day and they're no longer there. I have had nothing but issues from this browser. I think this is the last straw honestly, I shouldn't have to go into settings and folders and clear cache just to save my bookmarks... on a brand new format/install.

So I've given this update about two weeks and I'm jumping ship. I'm so sick and tired of whatever "improvements" they though they were doing. This browser was tolerable until this last update. Spead dial by the navigation buttons is completely gone. Now every time I search for something, it only searches the first two letters i typed in, ever damn time. It is so frustrating to search for everything and do everything twice. I am done with this browser. Goodbye opera. I gave it a try, you completely ruined something that was half decent. @vegelund I do, I type it in completely and hit enter, but every time it only searches the first two letters. Every Single Time.

@burnout426 nope. there's no pattern, just on the first 1-3 tries I try to copy something in opera, absolutely nothing happens. and it will remember the last thing i copied. so if i copy something step away from my computer, and then try to copy something again, it takes 2-3 times to copy it. or if it's the very first thing I try to copy, same issue. but once i've copied something, it's ok and works the first time every time until I don't use it again for a while. time seems to be the only factor.

so opera is just going to ignore copy and paste not working in their browser and call it a day. well if that's the case then i'm going to just navigate to a new browser then. absolutely tired of this.

@leocg Thanks for the distinction, i had forgotten to include that. both seem to be having issues for me. but yes, the pop up window definitely doesn't work the first time. I'll double check the right click, but I'm pretty sure I've had issues with it as well.

This issue has been going on for quite some time now. Every single time I attempt to copy something in opera, the first time it never works. I've had this issue for over a year though all the updates, maybe i'm the only one that notices it? I'll copy something, go to paste it, and nothing. so i have to go back and do it again. it usually take 2-3 times of hitting copy just for opera to actually let me copy the text so i can paste it. any word on how to fix this? Using windows 11 and just regular opera.

I already turned off lucid mode and this button is still here on every video. You click on it and it does absolutely nothing. Any idea how to get rid of it or is this just another annoying "feature" they updated opera with. happened after this last update where so far all they've managed to do is screw the browser up even more. I know one is for pop out, i have that turned off but it STILL shows up.

@burnout426 i never changed it to begin with. It's not on an animated one. I already checked that. I already tried changing it and turning off animations. no difference. this seems to be a new cosmetic "feature" that makes opera look bland
