RE: Unjust Downvotes Leading to Approval Delays, Need a Fair ResolutionFeedback for the Forums
@sgunhouse I would like to downvote but there's some guy in this thread who's permanently downvoting me for no reason.

I asked for help and got upvotes but this guy gave me a downvote again, so I fell to zero again. -
RE: Opera adds Discord, Slack and Bluesky to browser’s sidebar after community requestsBlogs
It's great to have more options. I still wonder why Opera doesn't allow to add custom sites to the sidebar like Vivaldi or Edge do. It would be a great option, as there also some other sites that were great to have in the sidebar, actually.

Aria and syncFeedback
I'm not sure if this has been addressed before: Is there a way to sync Aria chats across different devices when you're logged in into your account?
As far as I've seen, this doesn't happen automatically, at least.
ChatGPT and Le Chat (Mistral) would do that. That's the reason, why I'm asking.

RE: Read pages in Text formatOpera Browser
@GuidoCazzaniga Actually, there's no reader mode in Opera on iOS. On Android you have this, yet.
With the web going more mobile first, there shouldn't be a thing about it, as Opera frees you from most of the ads on a web page.
If you heavily rely on the option to have a reader mode, you should either stick to Safari which has. Or try Edge or Brave which also have decent ones.
From my personal experience I don't need it on my iPhone. And even on desktop I use it only for very long text. -
RE: Spotify on sidebar disappear when I click outside of itOpera for Windows
@sujikawe As far as I understand your concern, it‘s because Spotify in the sidebar is set to work floating. It’s meant to behave like this.
You can set it to „fixed“ by clicking on the pinon top of the sidebar, though. That would make Spotiy in the sidebar open next to your main window just like a split screen. And it will only close when you deliberately do that.
You can of course resize the width of the sidebar still. -

RE: Web apps support for desktop browser too?Suggestions and feature requests
Whenever I try to use Edge, I would install two or three web apps, mainly WhatsApp and Spotify.
But even with Edge I always end up with putting them back from the taskbar to the the sidebar.
So, finally, I don't miss PWA support, really. And this makes me return to Opera. I suppose I'm really used to the "Opera way" with having them in the sidebar. Maybe I don't see so much advantage of PWA over normal webpages, as they're webpages only and I have my browser open anyway.
Nevertheless I wouldn't mind Opera having PWA support, too.
This may be helpful for those who use Linux as there not that so many native apps as on Windows or Mac.
But proof me wrong: Wasn't the introduction of PWA by Google a way to circumvent Apple's app store in the first place? So I get, that it's more something for mobile than on desktop anyway.
And here, to my knowledge, you can build PWA in Opera, easily, at least on Android. -

@sgunhouse Thank you so much for your upvote. I don't respond over there, because that would give the spammer the possibility to downvote me again.

I really hope you get the issue with the Temu spammers solved. It's incredibly annoying.

RE: Opera adds Discord, Slack and Bluesky to browser’s sidebar after community requestsBlogs
@erdinc53 Yes, it worked. I added two custom sites to the sidebar.
But my questions remains: Why don't they enable this by default? Or offer the choice at least in the installation process?Unfortunately, it's not as handy as in Vivaldi or in Edge, where you can move the shortcuts to another position.
Nevertheless, thank you very much.

RE: Why Create New Versions of Opera Instead of Adding Features to One?Future releases
Opera One is the one for me, actually. Pun intended.
