@kupoglu If you're ever going to make a new install of Opera on Windows you can also disable a lot of these options during the process of installation. This holds true of Windows and Android alike. Just click on "options".

Over time I've come to the conclusion that especially the Android version is the one that keeps me sticking with Opera even more than the desktop one.

@ThoGo Das weiß ich nicht. Die drei Punkte sind ja Mac-typisch und stammen vom Betriebssystem. Vielleicht gibt es aber eine Linux Distribution, die sich an Mac anlehnt. Vielleicht Elementary OS?

@ThoGo Ich glaube, das ist spezifisch für Mac. Ich habe Opera auf Windows und Mac installiert und nur auf letzterem ist es so.

@vigeasva I'm not sure, if it's different on your side. But I can upload files, but they're not recognized. After entering my prompt I get the message: "Please upload a pdf-file!"

I wouldn't say that it makes the AI pretty much useless. But of course it's a major annoyance.

Du kannst opera://settings/privacy eingeben und ganz unten scrollen, bis die Schaltfläche "erweitert" erscheint. Da ist die Einstellung unmittelbar drüber.

@vigeasva Yes, it's the same here. Meanwhile I couldn't even upload pictures, but that has been resolved. So I thought, files were all the same, but that wasn't, as I realized this morning.

Turns out, that pictures can be uploaded again, at least for me, but pdf and doc files aren't.

Seems to work again.

Yes, exactly that. I can't upload any documents to Opera AI. I only get an error message about it. This happens on any device I use, could be connected to my own account. But I don't think so. It rather looks like a server problem.

It's not possible to upload pictures on Android either.

Now, in this very moment, I can't even upload a picture.
