Opera 28 on Mac - crashes when typing name of a speed dial item in search/address box

When typing name of an item I have in speed dial, Opera will crash after typing second letter.

I'm typing into the regular "Search or enter an address" box just right under the tabs and left from the navigation icons.

When typing anything else in the box (anything that is not already a name of an item I have in my Speed dial", Opera doesn't crash and all is fine.

This happens all the time and only when typing in that box. e.g. it doesn't happen when I type into the Google search box of Speed dial page just above the Speed dial tiles.

      Thanks.

... of course when it crashes it mostly disables all my extension, so I have to go to re-enable them. That's probably a good measure if extension is cause for the prolem, but it shouldn't disable extensions if the problem is related to something within the core of the application such as Speeddial in this case.

(Extensions are only disabled if the browser crashes repeatedly in a very short amount of time. A one-off crash should not unload your extensions.)

opera://flags – reset all to default

            Does this solve the problem?
