I still don't understand why they didn't just keep the old forum, which had all the facilities needed.
Yes it needed drastic pruning and reorganisation, but that would surely have been a better option than starting from scratch with what must be one of the most user unfriendly forum setups I've ever used!
Still, as you say, it's all about touch screen smartphones and tablets now, and I guess this forum is better for them!

I hated the old forum so I think it was a good idea to change, but sadly it's not really better now, I would even dare to say it's mostly worse.
And I find it hilarious that it works better with opera v12 or firefox than with opera v20.
The discussions with unread comments in opera v20 don't have their background in a darker gray like they are supposed to.

Well, all images are on the cloud as skin or as pictures like 1 april cats, that's extra vis-a-vis androidcentral forums. This forum is tendentiously constructed to work better with Android browser or others with WebKit rendering engine from Google's backyard, neddlessly to say that Opera got a dog in this fight so it's normal to put the face-off spot in their field only that nobody knows what's the name of the game. That's the generic problem with all Opera Software products and services.

@digmed earlier today I accessed the forums normally via Opera for Android (Off-road disabled), now when I access it I get the desktop version instead of the mobile optimized one.
I cleared the cookies + data but I still can't access the mobile version. What happened?

@rafaelluik We made some changes, and unfortunately this seems to have disabled the mobile styling. I'll report it to our CSS-guru who will hopefully have it fixed soon

Do you know when it will be fixed?

@sidneyneto Patience. Sunday has just ended in Norway. I believe they had a kind of extended holiday since Thursday (1th May - Labor day).

Well, I'm not opening a separate topic about it yet, but I have two things to propose:
-
it'd be better if somehow, we had a possibility to have a naked thread open - without AUTOMATIC redirecting to the last post or like that;
-
do we have notification when we're submitting a reply and someone else have already replied by the moment?

About 1.
You can get the link you're trying to get by clicking/right-clicking/copying the link in the time/date marking of the first post in a thread.
E.g. scroll up to your initial post and check the "June 3" link beside your username. It's https://forums.opera.com/topic/3155/random-bugs-to-fixAlthough that is not a naked link proper... I checked that: it loads to the top regardless what digit you type after "p" - even without any digit.

What seems to be a bug as p1 should open page 1, p2 page 2 and so on.

Maybe a p without a digit just means "p1" as 'by default'?
(There were no other pages in that thread I checked that way, though.) -

p it's from last check, for new users should be p1 and of course reds gauge counter are all over. I think it's also by design for comments counter/type, should be the counter or post types? The second option needs extra colons like in old forum rather than new buttons.
