@thrillvatron
That's exactly what I'm sayn. More coffee!
Even better, all data from default browser or apps should be cleared. Also some interferences with squid proxy can cause that but I can't explain the occurrence with opera mini, in any case default internet settings may have a glitch.
Change skin color enabling private browsing. Any tipe of skins with visible colors works for me except violet. Violet is for chicks, btw.
Perhaps mini servers loose coordonates for metaview after page refresh or window size, s60v may have a change in focus for zoom in and this forum have another width now on j2me platform. I think it's server side related and it will be fixed after a while.
Well, all images are on the cloud as skin or as pictures like 1 april cats, that's extra vis-a-vis androidcentral forums. This forum is tendentiously constructed to work better with Android browser or others with WebKit rendering engine from Google's backyard, neddlessly to say that Opera got a dog in this fight so it's normal to put the face-off spot in their field only that nobody knows what's the name of the game. That's the generic problem with all Opera Software products and services.
All letters are dysplayed in lowercase not only the first one so doesn't help to put the first as small letter and all the rest with caps on. :))
Yes, GlobalSign Root CA expired at 1/28/2014 is not for java nor intended to work functionally with opera mini which may have some certificates on server. Anyway login attempts with opera mini via outlook may fail at times and nonfunctional delete/mark buttons has an echo on mini app as for device itself via link_id. I know for sure that Thawte cert fail on mini server with test link https://certo.opera.com:660 and even if OCSP responder can work only for default browser (via http://evssl-ocsp.globalsign.com/responder ) opera:cache can note such a response (manual check on device can trigger the responder) so it must be related in some way. In any case hotmail works as intended depending on opera-mini transcoder meaning that global remote works in the same way for all devices and according with current state it ain't working properly.
http://public-dns.tk/ whatever works, better take it locally in case that your provider reset the peer.
You can't prevent forced font calculation, anyway that should occur only ones at first startup. On dumb phones (with ahead-of-time compilator as in sony ericsson devices) calculation run 10-20 seconds until operation is finished (c510 is the champ). On s60 takes up to 50s with .sis app and something like 1% per minute with java version so I can only guess that Opera Mini doesn't run near to native code on all devices.
