Ad blocking not working in the sidebar YT music

Since yesterday, before and after the latest update there are ads playing in the YT music sidebar app. Before they were muted/not playing and the songplaying was paused until the ad came to an end (muted during the whole time, not even the video showed). Now the ads play normally. Both the inbuilt adblocker or the Ublock are not working.

I also reported the same when the feature (player) was implemented yet. My question was why ads are blocking in the main window but not also in sidebar panel (player pane). That's why I found the player using pretty annoying.
I also tried to create a custom site (yt music) for the sidebar and result is the same.*I also tried to check it in the older version I use daily (pre One) and I also see and hear the ads. So I don't think it's directly related to Opera updates. My thoughts is that the ads blocking is still (or was not at all) not properly applied for the sidebar panels.

Was working fine for me until the recent update. I haven't tried rolling back, so I'm not 100% confident is it due the update or smth else.

You mean that ads were really blocked or they were muted and a track is delayed?

Yeah, I noticed the same thing! It was pretty convenient before when ads stayed muted and didn’t interrupt the music. Seems like something changed with the latest update or maybe how YT handles ads now. Hopefully Opera or the extension devs push a fix soon.

@satura001 Last time when I was posting reply I saw ads both in Opera One version and in my daily older Opera version.
Now (at the time of writing) I see no ads (no mute, no delay) in 'Old' version and still see full (sound + picture) ads in latest One version. I don't use the player feature daily. But it's uncommon behavior. Every time I was checking the player I saw ads, I randomly saw the both full ads (sound +picture) and muted no picture (delay) ads.
