I like to keep my browser windows a specific size to be able to sometimes have it on top of other apps and still see things behind, but now my browser windows keep getting set to my monitors resolution taking up the entire screen and I have to resize it every time I drag a tab to a different monitor, or I have to un-maximize the original window first and then drag the new tab over. Its a huge pain in the ass, I just swapped back over to opera from firefox but if I cant figure this out it will probably end up with me swapping browsers again tbh.

@rhaaa I would expect a maximized window ro stay maximized whatever monitor it is on, so I don't see the problem. If you want it a fixed size then don't maximize it.

@sgunhouse Yeah you're completely misunderstanding what's happening here. It's not staying maximized, it's resizing it to be the resolution of my monitor, completely different. You still have to maximize it once you drag it to the other monitor, just now the default window size of that dragged tab is the size of your resolution, and that's what's causing problems.

Guess Ill try to explain it differently. Window A is 800x600 window size, you then maximize it to be full screen, you can un-maximize it to go back to 800x600. While Window A is maximized you drag a new tab over to another monitor, Window B. Window B is now Not Maximized at 1920x1080. You can then maximize it to full screen and un-maximize it back to 1920x1080. While Window B is not maximized it now has the issue of blocking the windows taskbar from unhiding on hover.

What Window B should be doing (and what it does on other browsers) is opening on the other monitor already maximized, and when I un-maximize it it should be 800x600 just like it was in Window A before it got dragged over and made Window B.
