this is my personal issue of mine.

many times when i ask about a certain topic or scenario i get the 'This request violates our Terms of Use. Please try another search query.' even though i am just asking a question about how far i can take things in for example a story before the ai flags it. this is so that i could stay as close to the request while keeping it safe and friendly.

for example one of my latest questions i asked for story research was about:
      fetish for degradation and humiliation

      the question went as followed:
so lets say in my last example where the submissive wanted to be degraded and humiliated. and we say that hypothetically the submissive human has a fetish for degradation and humiliation would the use of them then be okay and to how far would it be okay? please give some examples using my prompts till now and my last example

      side note:
i have no problem with if flagging things that shouldn't be used but i do if it flags my questions

@bonebreaker992 Personally I'd say you got your answer.

A common approach to trying to jailbreak an AI is hypotheticals, so I'm not surprised if they decided to treat it the same as a direct request. It can't tell you its exact limits since it can't give you examples of what it can't say. Thus it isn't worth asking.

that makes sense but is still annoying
how else are you supposed to know how far the line is.
of course there is trail and error but that takes a lot of time
oh well nothing i can do to change it.

          thanks for your reply
