@whisperer Says the wrong password, Forgot password!!
I ask you to open an account, not to log in, anyway thanks for the answer .I switch to Google Chrome on my PC and Phones, while developers can do such a low-level intelligent move I don't think that we are safe to stay. Sad to say but after a lot of years they forced us to leave.. All the best and thanks again...

@Formingus-0 don't understand your problem. If you already registered, it'll ask you to enter your password. If your email is not registered you'll be prompted to enter and confirm new password.

But I can understand the confusion. It is not clear and downright confusing that in order to create an account you must first try to log in using your unregistered email address.

@Formingus-0 You type your email address as asked in the image.

@whisperer Where's is the confusion? It clearly asks you to provide an email address.
Biased on it, the page will redirect you to the login page or to the create an account page.

It isn't clear at all that the same dialog for logging in, is also meant for creating an account.
There is no button or link for creating an account, but you have to use the Login button for that. Then an email address is asked and still no mention of creating an account. Only after entering an email address to register an account, it becomes clear that this is how you can register.

@andrew84 That's why I said it weird, I do have an account, but I want to open another account for my kid, and after I enter a new email for a new account, instead of registering I am getting the wrong password, so in short terms I am unable to create another account!!!

That means an account with that email address already exists. Check for yourself by trying something like fkjlksdjfkl23l23ff832ssd32@example.com.

@whisperer Sorry for the late reply. I tried several times today and each time I encountered a problem. After I disabled some extensions, including AdBlocker, for the first time, I was directed to a page where I could enter a password. Anyway, I’ve already set up a Gmail account for my kid. Thanks for your reply and for trying to help me. I hope this thread will be helpful to others with the same issue.
Best regards,

There's 'continue' button by default and depending on whether email exists or not on next step the button will be transformed to 'sign in' or 'create account.
But I agree that it'd be more clear if there were two separate forms.

@leocg When i type my account it will log in.
When I type kid email to open a new Opera account, instead of giving me a New Password page it will ask for a password while the email is not registered ! -

@whisperer said in Difficult in creating a new account:
you have to click a Login button,
You mean the opera account popup on the address bar?
If yes, I agree. There should be a direct way to login using the popup instead of redirecting to web page. It should redirect only if someone wishes to create new account. -

@whisperer The page says "Let's start with your email address", so I guess it's clear that you should provide an email address.

@Formingus-0 Maybe another account is using the same email address.

If the user wants to create an account, he has to click Login and then there is no hint for creating an account.

@leocg No, in my case, it was some extensions and AdBlocker that caused the issue. In both cases, there needs to be a single "Sign In" button to make it clear.
