      On some websites (i.e: magyarnemzet.hu) the availability of reader mode for pages seem to depend on browsing history in the current tab. I.e. when I just open a link reader mode is not available, but when I open the same link in a new tab (no history) reader mode becomes available for the same page.
      Is this OK?

      Thanks.

        @gt1919 As far as I know, yes, the reader mode may not be available on all pages. Same on other Chromium browsers.

          @leocg I understand that reader mode may not be available on all pages in general, but that is not what I am talking about.
          Maybe I did not make myself clear:
          For any given webpage on the site I mentioned

          • reader mode is not available when there is page history in the tab the page is opened in (link was opened by simply tapping on it) and
          • reader mode is available when there is no page history in the tab the same page is opened in (link was opened in new tab).

          Go and try it!
          So, why is this the case?

            @gt1919 How is the behaviour in other Chromium browsers?

              @gt1919 Opened that page on a new tab and reading mode wasn't available.

                @leocg My fault again.
                By "any given page" I meant pages that contain an article, not the main page or other article-list type pages. I obviously do not expect reading mode availability on those pages. Sorry for not being precise enough.
                Thanks.
