Thunderbird to Opera

Hi, noob Opera user 2day
It went ok (W11) - quite simple so far and impressed with small cpu use and speed so far. Firebird had become so slow and cpu intensive. Something going wrong there.
Anyway - I thought I might have to import etc Thunderbird into opera use, but it all seems just to pop up as before (in FF) with no changes involved? This seems too good to be true
I dont like Thunderbird but have learnt to live with it and it was difficult at first years ago to get it all workings in IMAP.
so if it aint broke dont fix it?

@chalfordwestbury Opera is not a mail client and as such there'z really nothing to import. As long as both programs (Thunderbird and Opera) follow OS settings they should work together, such that clicking a weblink in an email opens in Opera while clicking an email link on a web page should open a Compose tab in Thunderbird.
