Is there no way to bookmark all tabs?

Because it is not aceptable to keep folders of tqbs instead of favorites, what do you want me to go through all folders and favorite them all? it's super slow and keeps crashing... very bad workaround, this is not the same as firefox, eplorer and chrome. When will Opera get to modern times and add "add all tas to favorite"? I'm goind back to microsoft edge, it has "add all tabs to favorites" what are Opera doing? Since 2021 this has not been solved ??? where are your priorities?

@thedamascusscribe Not immediately obvious perhaps, but if you right-click on a tab and then on Save from that menu, one of the options is "all tabs as Speed Dial folder".

@sgunhouse Yes but this is not the same thing, it's badly ordered forlders, not alphabetically ordered favorites,

So my question stands : when are they gonna solve this major problem?

it is USELESS to have tons of folders with tons of tabs in them without having clean favorites

My other computer still after 10 hours hasn't recovered from thetentative # window all tabs "save as folder" and I had about 9 other windows to save after... Really bad system as it keeps crashing once you have 7-8 windows of 30-80 tabs each trying to save folder makes it bug

@thedamascusscribe If you want to be more specific in your description, post it in the desktop feature requests forum.

However, speed dial folders are already listed in Bookmarks and if you want them somewhere else you could just move them there.

@sgunhouse thing is : all other browsers have ADD TABS to Favorites... the only reason I picked opera this time was the built in VPN since other browser VPN addons always bug, so now I'm at the point of = I will dump opera just becasue I need add all tabs to favorite DAILY than a problem with VPN update which happens once a month

so Opera got me in but kicks me out since they dont have a basic function

Cuz it's super slow, it crashes the computer when you got 10 windows with each 30-100 tabs and you "Add one window to quick access folder"

everytime in this situation it freezes opera and may have you forcefully reboot your computer.

Why is bad. Cuz other brosers in same situation : i clicl Add all tabs to favorites and the browser does not crash.

Here since opera creates a folder it seems to try and put it in every windows's "background" and it freezes... horrible decision to dump one of the most used fucnctionnalititees ever! Add all tabs to favorite is used by everyone all the time. And all other browser ahve it. If not updated this month I am uninstalling opera and will make bad publicity to them openly cuz this is so basic it's an insult that in more than 3 years they have done nothing to fix a super easy to add function.
Opera are not even trying to add the function, 2021 - forum post closed. 2023- still no solution.

As said, it's far, far, far from ideal and it takes multiple steps in Opera to do what you want:

Right-click on a tab, goto "Save" and choose "All tabs to a speed dial folder".
Goto the URL opera://bookmarks and go in the "Speed Dial" folder.
Right-click on the saved tabs folder that was created, choose "Edit" and rename it to what you want.
Drag the folder from the "Speed Dial" folder to "Other bookmarks" (or "Bookmarks Bar" if you want).
Then, in that folder in the new spot, right-click in a blank space and choose "Sort alphabetically".

If you don't want the saved tabs bookmarks in a folder and just want them in the root of "Other bookmarks" or "Bookmarks bar":

Go into the folder, hit ctrl + a to select all bookmarks in it and drag the selection to "Other bookmarks" or "Bookmarks bar".
Then, in "Other bookmarks" or "Bookmarks bar", right-click in a blank spot and choose "Sort alphabetically".

Now, as for crashing, Opera shouldn't do that of course, not even with lots of tabs.

You can try and get a Crash ID for the crash and post the ID here along with the version of Opera you have as shown at the URL opera://about and what version of Windows you're using. And, mention whether you're using Opera Sync and syncing bookmarks or not. Finally, file a bug at https://opera.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/9/group/11/create/6 mentioning all of this and post the bug number here. For the bug, you'll want to attach your "Bookmarks" and "BookmarksExtras" files in your profile folder to the bug report. If you can't post anything here, post on https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/.

So please send this algorithm to the Opera team so they can implement "Add All To Favorites"
you just did the basic job they must learn to make the code do.

Seing this i would wonder if opera are just a little noobish studio not knowing how to program a browser seing how ALL other browsers offer "Add all tabs to favorites"

So thanks for confirming to me that I must uninstall Opera since it is s**t. I cannot add all tabs to favorites so it's a worthless browser to me.

Even internet explorer 7.0 has it if I install it on my Windows 10

Thanks but I will instead uninstall Opera and use Firefox or Chrome or Microsoft Edge with a VPN add on,

this is way less trouble that juggling every time in Opera I desire to add all tabs to favorites (which happens about twice per day to 50 times per day)
