Can I revert back to old UI?

Since I updated Opera recently, I found the interface has changed completely and it is...ugly to be honest. I'm sorry.
Could you give us an option to change the interface, please? I prefer the previous one much more. Simple, sleek and easy to navigate.
Thank you! -

Yeah why so many additional blackbars between everythng. It makes everything important looks smaller. It's ugly.

We're with ya! This is what we suggested not too long ago.
Until Opera's developers (and leadership) decide to honor the suggestion and/or offer different UIs via Settings, we're sticking with another browser.
If Opera's leadership is wondering why Opera's marketshare has remained essentially flat for the past 2-3 years and nearly at the bottom with only 3.2% of the global market share, well, this is one reason why. They don't seem to listen to their users.
Cheers

Agreed.
Opera is my favourite browser, has been for years, but I don't like the new interface.
I'm sticking with Opera 99.

Just logged in to find the new giant opera update, thats changed the UI and added a bunch of useless stuff.
How do I roll back to the previous version and keep it from updating to the new awful one?

Same here, can we get the previous UI or at least remove the border from page content? Try to use youtube in dark mode with opera light mode, it's just terrible.
Also there favicon of pinned tab is missing when music is playing
