Still the same problem. "Unfortunately, the bug https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2023/01/opera-96-0-4691-0-developer-update/#comment-299700 (that tabs to the right of the currently active one swap their position with another when clicked) is still present. This is very annoying because it can mess up the whole, carefully constructed sequence."

@sopronman1965: Opera 95 is the last one, without Tab problems. The browser is with this prblem unusable.

@sopronman1965 Opera is actively testing and working on that issue, so sit tight.

@koimark: I tested DebugDiag-tool:
"In 0d396b22-bffa-42b3-8829-80cfc809a95d.dmp the assembly instruction at KERNELBASE!RaiseException+6c in C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll from Microsoft Corporation This exception originated from opera_browser. has caused an unknown exception (0xe0000008) on thread 30
and Interesting find is that tool gives very old information:
"Please follow up with the vendor for the file C:\Program Files\Opera developer\87.0.4388.0\opera_browser.dll for problem resolution."
- current folder is 97.0.4704.0. I'm not sure is this a real problem or just traces of old Opera installations in registry,.

It's been long time since I've been forced to switch to Beta instead of Opera because of big problems. Now this sudden crashes annoyes so much. (I noticed this in both Windows and MacOS (intel) ) I think it could be related to actions related to switching and/or closing tabs. But not found any way to repeat this. I hope crash reports are automatically sent and will tell something.

I'm also suffering random crashes, and for a pair of them I lost all the tabs I was browsing. This is beyond annoying.

@leocg: I haven't found reliable way to reproduce crashes. It seems to be related tabs and/or switching them etc. But what in those tabs and/or actions triggers crash I have no glue. I hope developers find out.

@koimark, I just tried the new beta and it has the same bug with tab swapping as this developer here. Unfortunately, this is not an option for me. But I haven't had any more crashes on my system since we reported the bug and it was fixed. Maybe you better add some informations about your system und version for the Opera team (and for us) to be able to compare and isolate the error.

@ralf-brinkmann: W11x64 (16 GB RAM), Opera x64. Opera Stable 95 works still good, the newest Opera Beta 96 from today is still with the bug with the tab swapping. Unusable!

@ralf-brinkmann: Crashes occur in Windows 11x64 with 16GB ram. - I just noticed that in my Macbook Pro with macOS Ventura 13.2 I cannot open opera:crash -page at all.
