Great news! I hope this means that Opera will remove the Google search field from the centre of the Opera Start Page, and instead place this new feature front and centre. This is such a big feature, that it should be hidden in some corner and behind a tiny inconspicuous icon.

@lucksme I don't think that there's even a reason to believe that Opera will stop using Google in it's start page.

@u1travio1et Hi, I have not found the setting to remove the Google search field. I know that one can choose which search engine to use, but that applies to the address field, where the URL is usually displayed.
I also have written to Opera about this.
