Hello, hope all is well
wondering why i cant simply copy url from your browser
i do have many of tabs open, 'using opera to monitor many irl streaming pages... (over 27 tabs open)...is it a clear cache issue?
i noticed this intermittent problem has been lingering since 2015
never an issue in other browsers:
1-highlight url
2-right click selected text, copy (paste is empty)
3-old school ctrl-c (paste = nada)LOL
winblows user, opera Version:93.0.4585.21

@cyberkaz What does it exactly do? Copy an empty text? Not copy anything into the clipboard? If you select a part of the url and cut it, does it disappear and is it copied to the clipboard? If you right-click on the url and directly choose Copy (without manually selecting any text), does it make any difference?

Hello,
as you said, nothings copied to the clipboard"If you select a part of the url and cut it, does it disappear and is it copied to the clipboard?" yup disappears, but nothing in clipboard
"If you right-click on the url and directly choose Copy (without manually selecting any text), does it make any difference?" no, that is what that doesn't work.
we highlight the url from left to right, right click "copy" and that goes to the clipboard ok!
opera is rocking it, must be os related...
Thanks for the quick reply and Much Health

This is very weird. And I assume it's the only software where this occurs? And what if you do the same in a web site's textbox, like in Google, or this very forum?

Manually highlighting works?? That's weirder.
I would try with a standalone portable installation to see what happens there. Do you have any extension installed? You could also try an incognito window.

Yep, that is quite stupid. That you had to uninstall and reinstall, in 2022 - when we should be far removed from having to do such a mundane thing like that.2024
--- STILL happening. I can do a CTRL + C on the keyboard but NOT (as you experienced) able to use the mouse to copy/paste.
The weird thing is, this only started with recent Opera updates...
How crazy is that...
