@leocg not sure how you don't have the issue. maybe it a country based issue? cause it still not working for me when i tried opening it in settings.

@rebeccaicequeen The problem may be happening on a specific server, so not everyone is being affected.

@leocg that could be too. but it would say so on the status website if it was a server based issue

@rebeccaicequeen The status page doesn't seem to list the Sync servers. And there was some issues on some Opera sites/services recently according to that page.

@burnout426 Canada Nova Scotia. and still has the same issue. i seen in another post someone went as far as to make themselves a new account but i rather not go there just yet to do that and make a new account and hope it works of the sync between my pc and laptop, even though i have my bookmarks and passwords backup it just for the fact that my account has been active for so long i use to it and to make changes with a new account just don't seem right. it don't fix a problem but bypasses it to making new accounts that supposedly fixes things.

@burnout426 Australia. I've worked out it's my account. I created a new one and sync.opera.com works. I have no idea what to do from here. Starting a new account is not a solution.

@burnout426 Poland, same issue, same time. It looks 1:1 like it was described here. The problem IS present.

US here and I also cannot use opera.com/connect or sync.opera.com. Just a constant stuck loading.

my sync is back working between my devices but i am almost tempted to just make a new account anyway because it is not matching up right. on the opera sync page it says i have 8 devices signed in when i only have 2 (i did have many back then but no longer use my old devices with opera browser, and there is no way of removing or logging out of past device sessions, which should be a thing) and it is saying i have many opened tabs when i only have 3 tabs opened. 2 on one device, and one on another.

First i would like to apologie for any grammar mistake i could do then i may have a solution for the sync problem just today i had this issue. So i tried many thing and when i was about to gave up i decided to try the update and recovery while using the option keep all my personal data then started the recovery after that i did the ckeck for any update and rebooted Opera GX then connected my opera account again and sync all my data and there you go everything was back.
I am not sure if it's the right way because i have been jumping between 2 computers but if it is you're last resort try it it's better than creating a new account?
Hope it could help anyone, have a good day -

Restart opera. End the process in task manager if it's working in the background. Worked for me. Hope it helps you.
