Copying settings and files from old PC

My computer's motherboard malfunctioned so I had to buy a new one. I don't have backups from my old computer, but I have all the files on the HDD. Is there a way for me to copy everything over to my new installation?
Thanks

@waels The encrypted files like logins and cookies can't be copied, as the encryption depends on your system account (being a different system it will be a different account). Bookmarks (which are not encrypted) should be fine. - the file name is Favorites. Setting and History and sessions - not certain which might be encrypted.

@sgunhouse That is fine. Actually all I care about are favorites and history. I wouldn't expect cookies and passwords to be saved. That would be scary
Can you tell me where to find these?

@leocg Thanks for the info. I was able to copy the favorites and history. Is there a way to copy the shortcuts on the main screen? The speed dial or whatever they are called. I tried to copy many files, but didn't get those. If you think of any other customizations that can be copied please let me know.
