How to disable Google search suggestions in address bar?

After the latest update,
How to disable Google search suggestions in address bar?
I need only suggestions from history and bookmarks. Perhaps a few Google search suggestions could be after them.

E.g. when I type "watch..." I want to see mainly the suggestions from my history and bookmarks, where they are some 5 to 10 entries. Google search suggestions are not so important for me.

You likely cannot disable them entirely (I complained about that some time ago), but you can minimize their negative effect by disabling opera internal flag chrome://flags/#address-bar-dropdown-categories

I had those shitty suggestions removed, now after x months they are back again.

I usually used the history suggestions to not have to remember all plages i visit, now the search suggestions are in the way and also bookmark suggestions.

Yesterday it only showed history suggestions, which was perfect.

Thats like 5th time this has been turned on with an update, f'##k you Opera.

the suggested flag from above does not, the suggestions do not vanish ...

@dorkspace Here disabling the setting for search suggestions worked and only the ones from history and bookmarks were shown.

@leocg Hmm i tried that, but i have disabled it now and it is still shown.

Guess i will migrate to OperaGX sick of these random forced feature experiments, which keep me annoyed and entertained for days.

And reseting the browser is no option, it would take me days to setup everything again.
