Recovery of Accidentally Deleted Bookmars

Hi, i'd like to ask if there is a way to recover a recently accidental deletion of bookmarks

@kelpfire1120 Go to Bookmarks. If you get the sidebar, scroll to the bottom to click the link to open as a tab. At the bottom of the folder view you will find a folder named Trash. If you haven't emptied trash, all your old deleted bookmarks will still be there.

@sgunhouse so if i already emptied the trash folder?.. there is no other way of recovering said bookmarks ryt?.. cause thats where i accidentally deleted the whole trash as i only wanted to delete a group of them not the whole trash

and take note of the "profile" path. Then, open the "Bookmarks" file in the profile folder with a text editor and check if the trash folder's children array has bookmarks in it. If not, you're out of luck unless you have a backup or your "Bookmarks" or had previously exported your bookmarks to an .html file.If you use Opera Sync to sync your bookmarks, you could look on sync.opera.com to see if the bookmark count looks like the count before you emptied the trash. If so, you can make a standalone installation, sync your bookmarks in it, and see if the missing ones come in. If so, you could export those bookmarks and import them into your regular Opera.. This is a long shot though and counts on things not syncing right. Opera probably synced the emptying of the trash from your Opera.
