@schonkeren Update: I don't know what the frack we did but I just noticed the window is actually on-screen again! Didn't unpin anything either. This was bugging me for a few weeks already. Thanks, but I don't know what for : )))

@schonkeren That said: the original problem remains: no right click menu options

@schonkeren If you actually pinned the icon yourself, it won't have the same menu options as if the installer created the icon. The installer includes these other options when it registers the program, but that doesn't happen if you pin it yourself.

@sgunhouse I unpinned, ran the setup and... No menus, nor is Opera automatically pinned (nor did I see an option in the setup to pin it)... Sigh. Opera!

@schonkeren By default, when you uninstall Opera, it leaves your settings alone and data alone. You have to opt in to deleting your data. So, you should be safe. But, if you wanted to be safe, goto the URL
opera://about
and take note of the "profile" and "cache" paths. Then, close Opera and and back up those 2 folders (the "profile" folder being the important one).Uninstalling and reinstalling could fix corruption with Opera's program files and could fix Opera's entries in the registry. Doing so might fix the right-click problem. Not sure.
Also, maybe you can find a fix at https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+10+taskbar+icon+right+click+not+working, even if those results are for right-clicking not working for all taskbar icons instead of just Opera's.
https://www.google.com/search?q=chrome+right-clicking+taskbar+icon+not+working might help too.
https://www.google.com/search?q=chrome+jump+menu+not+working too.
Also see this page. Maybe there's an issue with Opera's Jump List files. You could find them and delete them. Then, you could uninstall and reinstall Opera.
(This is all of course if you still want to use Opera.)

@burnout426 fair enough, I'll leave these tests to the next person googling their ways to this thread. I'll be slowly retiring Opera but I appreciate all the help I got
Enjoy 2022, be safe!

@schonkeren I have the exact same issue and haven't been able to correct it. I use the right click option to bring an offscreen app onto my main screen because I have multiple monitors. Works for all other apps and programs, just not Opera.
Also an annoying problem in Opera when I click on a field with text like a URL, it won't select the text and removes the cursor. I have to click 3 or 4 times to actually select the info I want to replace or add to.
