Viewing links in tabs

I updated to the latest version of Opera (81.0.4196.31) and now I get a pop-up window when I mouse over the tabs. Is there a way to disable this annoying new feature? Thanks!

Goto the URL opera://flags/#fast-tab-tooltip, disable the flag, and restart Opera.

@burnout426 Why is this thing even on by default, its super annoying and you cant simply turn it of in settings. Also pretty sure your solution will have to be done again and again after every update.

@alterbridg3 Previous tooltip also couldn't be turned off in settings, that one just have a different layout and some extra info.
Also, the only way for them to see the impact of a new feature is by enabling it for as many users as possible.

Probably you won't need to disable the flag on every update, but the flag most probably will go away at some point.

@leocg one thing i want to know that . what was in the new update of opera gx. i updated it a week ago . and can't find out what the change. hoping that u will give me changlog info . but latest

@burnout426 Thanks if I already did that and it worked for me. But since the last version 84.0.4316.14 it was activated again and now I can't even deactivate it again because it doesn't appear in the experimental options... you removed the possibility of deactivating it again... Any solution? Thanks

@burnout426 I find it fatal that they have removed the option to disable it. I have seen that in Opera Developer version 86.0.4360.0 you have finally put the option to deactivate/activate "Show tabs from the same domain in tab tooltip". Anyway, we will have to wait for that version to be the stable version one day... Until then we will continue to see a long list that covers the entire screen:

Thank you for listening to the Opera community and for finally solving this tab issue in this latest version (85.0.4341.18). Which is located in Settings / Advanced / User interface / "Show tabs from the same domain in tab tooltip".
