I am astonished that Opera would use Google Capcha on this forum when Google Capcha punishes Opera users for using Opera VPN.

Moreover, there are a plethora of sites that show the obsfucated code that Google hides on it's cloud so that we can't see that it is using Google Capcha to spy on users.

I have proved this by locking down Opera to not share anything, set Default Search to DuckDuckgo, on a clean session using 3rd party ccleaner and the cookie settings I made Opera virginal.

I used ghostery and uBlock Origin to block all trackers

I then accessed the UK National Lottery site which carries no ads, with only functional cookies but used Google Capcha at the time.

Google then started showing me gambling ads on YouTube and other sites using Google "partner" networks.

My biggest reason for being averse to Google Capcha is that it is disability unfriends And once someone struggles it bans their IP address.

You can't do a simple Google Search on Opera without being prompted for a bloody Captcha, then you come to Opera Forum about another matter and you get the damn Google Capcha here.

So Please remove Google Capcha, there are plenty of alternatives, HCapcha is more disability friendly but there are others.

To be honest Opera does not help itself by making the registration of it's VPN's visible on Who.Is services. It just makes it easier to ban them.

Note if I use a 3rd party free VPN on Extension I do not get the Capcha on Google search

So Please get rid of Google Capcha.
