[Solved] I want multiple pages not tabs from a folder in bookmarks; How?

I have latest Opera. I have a folder in my bookmark bar. In that folder are 5 webpage links. When I right click on the folder to "open in new pages" it simply opens them as new tabs. I want them to open up in 5 new opera pages not 5 tabs in one page.

It works in chrome. I want to migrate to opera but this is a big thing for me.

@pointbob Such option doesn't seem to exist in Opera. At least here, if I right click on a folder in the bookmarks bar, there is only the option to open them all in a new window.

If I want to open each bookmark in the folder in a separate window, I need to open them one by one

@pointbob I presume you mean windows. Websites are also called "pages", so 5 tabs is 5 pages.

@sgunhouse yes. i have a folder with 5 saved urls/links. I want all 5 to open up in 5 new pages - not one page with 5 tabs.

I can right click and open each bookmark as a new page - but when I right click on the folder to open all 5 it won't do it.

@leocg the one by one opening thing is not good. I'm a stock trader and i have a core bunch of pages i need to open in mornings. 20 actually. By having them open in an individual pages it's easy to navigate.

Opening them one by one is tedious and defeats the purpose of having technology to serve us.

chrome extensions work in opera? that's a link to chrome..i could not find one in opera extensions....

Yes, except for a few exceptions.

@pointbob I would create a workspace with those pages opened in tabs or windows and access it when needed.
But it's nice that you have found a solution.

@pointbob Think first.
Open your damn pages in several windows once! When you do it, use them, then close first (main, parent) Opera window with Ctrl+Q buttons. All your "pages" (>>windows<< per favore, not pages) will close one after another. Go to sleep. Get back to work. Then click your Opera icon where it is. All your Opera windows closed earlier will open again. No magic, Opera helps those who helps Opera thinking how to use it.
