Opera hangs itself when asking where to download

Windows 10.
Latest version of Opera(auto-updating)
No add-ons or extensions.

Starting this week, when trying to download files, Opera seems to freeze. It's not really frozen, but it has hung itself when asking where to download. It becomes unresponsive and chimes when clicked on. However, there is no way to move or minimize the browser window to get to the download location window. Additionally, the download location window is either not spawning or not displaying, and cannot be reached via shortcuts.

@atomic Disable easy files in the user interface section of the settings page.

@atomic That's the official name for that upload panel with the clipboard and recent downloads on it. I wouldn't expect it to effect downloads, but you can try that.

@atomic It's called Show pop-up with clipboard and recent downloads, not that difficult to find out.
