Hello everyone, just wantted to ask in regards to this problem I am having.
it started happening after the last opera update so wondering whether anyone else is having this problem.
Originally I was using Opera GX, but then my system starts crashing and BSOD on me.
Took a lot of effort to isolate the problem and finally I found out it was my opera GX after I uninstalled it. tried using other browsers for like a day or two and no problems.
Then for a lark, I installed back opera GX and not more than half an hour later, th BSOD.
The thinking it is GX, I uninstalled it and installed the normal Opera browser, same, BSOD again.
so again, I uninstall Opera and used other browsers and to date, no BSOD at all.
So anyone else having this problem as well, and better yet, do you haVE A solution for it?
thank you in advance.

@cerb3rus Check your drivers and hardware, they are what cause BSOD.

my drivers and hardware are all fine.
games and other browsers and so forth no problems at all.
just only when I start using the opera broswser (regardless of the normal one or the GX one),
it causes the the BSOD.Been on a different browser for a couple of days now and no bsod.

@cerb3rus Your drivers and hardware may be fine, but Opera Software would still need to know what they are in order to replicate the issue. Also (if you're willing to try it), you might disable hardware acceleration and see if Opera still crashes. (Though once they know your hardware and the driver versions they could try this themselves and see ...)

Ok, found and disabled the hardware acceleration in opera GX (because I like GX better than the normal opera)
and we shall see how it goes.
