        @SilentHugOfDoom Never, most probably.

        Opera had a built-in email cliente in the past and they released a standalone version of it when Opera changed into Chromium but the development stopped back there.

        I really don't see a plausible reason for Opera to develop a email client.

          @SilentHugOfDoom However e-mail client module would be a nice addition to Opera, pushing it to the idea sorta Opera Commander closer, I will not vote for Vivaldi Bis on Opera base. Yandex browser is fast, real damn fast, thanks to slim structure, far from a nightmarish blob! Yandex is similar to Chrome, both are gates to plethora of excellent or bloody services (btw, I deem Google-Caboodle as deadly pestilence). If Opera developers started to see points where Opera is finished in 80%, considering the belittling issues as a matter of Chromium, it would make Opera browser the best in the town. Alas, the Team look into the Great Future not bothering with such trifle mundane tiny "bugs" (we the users, or browser features). The ends justify the means. Be warned.

              @pavelopdev I believe opera can be the best browser for sure. I don't know the agenda of the developers, but as a user who has a lot of things to do with the browser I really need something like a Swiss army knife. hop that would be opera to evolve that in the future?!

                @SilentHugOfDoom Thank you for the answer. The Opera Swiss Army Knife or The Opera Commander are two names of the same Opera of The Future. Alas, I have bad premonitions with such visions, they will probably fizzle out as the time goes by. I haven't been seeing much feedback from Opera Team (I can't get no satisfaction 😉 ), apart from few discussions with @andrew84 and @leocg the Moderator. Anyway keep pressing! Who knows?

                      Why do you think they should repeat the same mistake of the past?

                          @SilentHugOfDoom Because of the past, because of history.

                          Opera used to be a Swiss knife and it led them to where?

                            @leocg but, I'm not talking about a mail service. I'm talking about a built-in mail client. they are two different things. opera doesn't have to give mail services, they can just allow people to check their mails on opera with a built-in client!

                              @silenthugofdoom Adding an email client simply doesn't worth the efforts of doing it.

                                    @silenthugofdoom Opera and Vivaldi for me. Used to be Firefox and Opera in that order. I find that no one browser is superior to all others in all respects. So will switch depending on the task at hand.

                                      @silenthugofdoom In my experience, once you get to a browser that's perfect or near-perfect, after customisation it eventually regresses.

                                      It's happened to me with Opera. Fortunately, it's still good enough to be my default.
