Side panel width

How to reduce the width of the vertical sidebar in the browser? Why is it rigidly attached to this size? what an idiocy. You restrict the user's rights, to expose himself as he wants.

@rusik-zevs You can resize the sidebar panels (social networks, history, bookmarks, etc). Don't know about extensions panels.

@leocg So it's the same thing .. What's the difference what is open at the moment, - extensions, history or bookmarks. The panel itself, shrink below this size, - you can't
So I asked. There may be hidden settings where you can specify the minimum size. To make it smaller -

@rusik-zevs There isn't any hidden setting for that as far as I know.

No, You can not able to perform this task because there is no option to reduce the size of the panel. I think it is due to pinned please unpin so it can go to its position. But you are able to reduce the size of the sidebar panel which includes the social network bookmarks etc.

@rusik-zevs What panel is this ? I can resize mine. All you need to do is click between the "two windows" and drag.

No No and no!!!. How much can you repeat ..[Caps are not allowed] !!! Opera does not allow to reduce. It doesn't matter what is open. social network bookmarks etc.

There is a minimum width to the panel, and the poster wishes to reduce it smaller than that width. Sorry, that can;t be done.
Got it. thanks, very sorry.
It looks like, as if I were using a TV. And the manufacturer would say that I can only use it on the 1st floor. And on the second one is impossible. Because the manufacturer wanted it so !!. So it is with you with the Opera. Use only the way we want, not the way you want.
Total - the opera in the trash. Nobody likes to be forced. I want to use it the way I want.
I'm not surprised that even with its advantages, the opera is used less and less .. Who likes it when he is forced. -

There used to be a workaround which I had to perform every few weeks:
https://forums.opera.com/topic/37578/solved-return-extention-sidebar-or-rework-the-main-oneAs of today this workaround doesn't work any more, because the flag apparently doesn't exist.
Frankly, I've had it with this nonsense. I'm too tired to find a solution, again.
If you think you constantly need to break your browser, be my guest, I'll just go away then and hope firefox has fixed the memory leak issue in the meanwhile.By the way the "Solved" tag on the thread linked above ought to be removed, and the topic activated again, because you guys just broke the workaround too. Congrats.
