I can't change my default search engine to google or bing. I don't know how but my wife has yandex.ru as default search engine and I can't change it to google or bing. I reset opera browser to default settings, I had google for few days and then yandex is default again and google is completely removed from opera browser. How can I prevent yandex to do it?

@leocg I need to add google search manually and it is not possible to make it default. Only wikipedia and yandex.ru can be default. I can only restore Opera to default settings and after few days I have same problem. I am not sure how it is possible because I have slovak location and language.

@matushi Opera only allows the pre-configured search engines to be set as the default one. You only have those two options?

@leocg Yes, I've checked again all settings and reset default settings helps only until restarting Opera.

Opera tries to use Google to determine your location, and will set default search engines based on what they say. If they determine you are in Russia, you get Yandex as default. Here in the US, you get DuckDuckGo, Google and Bing.
