Opera crashes ~1 minute after being opened

I've been using opera as my default browser for more than 2 years now, and had an overall positive experience with it. But ever since i turned my PC on today morning, it has crashed every single time roughly 1 minute after I opened it.
What I've done in an attempt to fix this:
-Restarted.
-Checked for updates (there were none, so I'm guessing I'm running the newest versions - 68.0.3618.63).
-Tried disabling all my extensions, and closing all the tabs.
-Tried to recover with my files intact.
-Tried to recover with a full-reset.
-Tried updating Windows.
-Tried completely removing Opera and reinstalling it.
None of these steps worked. I think I will switch do GX/download an older version for the time being. If anybody know what may cause this or how can I narrow it down to something specific, I would appreciate the help, because this is incredibly inconvenient. -

Not sure how I would do that. I didn't have an Opera account, I made one just to ask, about an hour ago, so if the profile is linked to an account, I didn't have one, and if it's stored locally, then I guess the full-reset / reinstall should have gotten rid of it.

I have this same problem and neither a clean profile nor clean reinstall fixed it. Opera works fine on another computer running the same Windows 10 version (1903), though.

Ok, I'm still a little lost on this forum, but managed to find it. I didn't make a new profile per se, but I did delete those folders before the re-install, which should be equivalent(?).
@osyu
I ended up running out of time to investigate, so I looked for an installer for a slightly older version (found it here somewhere) installed that, and renamed the auto-updater to something else for the time being.
I saw that ideally someone who posts here should also list the specs so here goes:
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
RAM: 2x8GB HyperX Fury Black
MOBO: ASUS B350m TUF Gaming
GPU: RTX 2070
STORAGE 256GB m.2 SSD (this is where Opera is installed) + ~7TB of HDDs
Thanks for pointing me into the right direction, once the finals are over, I'm gonna revisit this and hopefully find a more permanent solution. -

Same problem, I'm not flattered with Opera anymore, any update gets worst, they remove features I like and I'm seriuosly thinking on move out to Egde.

Edge is even worse. Vivaldi could be the alternative, but it is slower than Opera (excluding Opera 68).

I have exactly the same problem. Got this problem after updating to latest windows (1909) and latest opera. Opera just randomly close itself after being opened about minute and there is no error. I also have ryzen processor maybe that is the cause. On my laptop with Intel processor everything is working fine.
However opera GX is working without any problem. The same applies to Opera 67 that I have downgraded to. So I guess I'm not the only one with this problem.
Hope they will fix it soon.

I've been having the same issue since this morning, I had a few problems with my computer and had to restart it. Since then, Opera won't hold open for more than a minute.

Topic. Today, with no changes to a working setup, Opera started randomly quitting about a minute after it was opened. It doesn't appear to be a crash, as all the tabs I had open are reloaded with no issues. It's not limited to a tab either, as the multiple windows I routinely use all close simultaneously with no comments whatsoever.
I've tried recovering, clearing all user data, even uninstalling/reinstalling and the issue persists. I have to use firefox just to make this help request (and I hope it's in the right place, as the website conspicuously lacks any direct support). I'd like to keep using Opera, but I need it to work first.
