@pursanovd Workspaces differs from groups of cards (from Opera Presto) in that at the moment we can only see cards from the selected workspace. On the other hand, in Opera Presto all cards were always visible and in addition a few collapsed groups, they had to be developed separately, and in addition we could still see the cards not grouped. And as I wrote, now we can only see cards from a given category on each screen. So it's a better solution for me.
However, yes, I would like Opera to gain the function of adding user profiles (with the possibility of operating at the same time on several profiles in separate accounts), in which history, settings, add-ons, cookies, etc.
they were independent of each other. My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

@eugene-b: Opera 67.0.3575.53 has the security fixes it looks like
Why Open the Web?
Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content. -

There's a new build: https://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/desktop/67.0.3575.53/

This is nice and all but can we please have tab stacking? It's so much better than using this for people like me. Also, please make flow work without the sidebar being enabled. Why can I not open my flow without the sidebar? Who thought this was a good idea???

@max1c: With workspaces implemented, I dont think they will add tab stacking. Its basicaly the same thing... and tab stacking should be actualy available now in chromium, so I think that the workspaces is just the same feature, but re-worked for Opera.

Five workspaces barely enough for me - I want to have one workspace for my Project1, one more for Project2, one for my upcoming trip, one for my Music lesson, there are more. They also synchronize and seem to be messed up between home and work PC.
Without sidebar shown I would love to see name of my current Workspace somewhrere. -

Re. the Tab cycler: why not just have Ctrl + Tab cycle though the actual tabs? Simpler, and one less keystroke, compared to having to select an icon (plus the icons are smaller than the tabbed pages, so harder to recognise.
The joke here is I could not log in using Opera... using Chrome now. -

It's OK just can't get used to the new workspaces. Sidebar was cleaner looking before the update. Please include the option to disable workspaces. Or at least an option to hide this blue workspace icon. It is somehow distracting me
Have a nice day -

@aleszajc Click the meatball menu (3 horizontal dots) at the bottom of the sidebar. There you will be able to disable workspaces.

@burnout426 how stupid of me. I was using right click on the side bar but I was unable to diable the workspae1. Thank you very much for that you deserve a beer.

It is really a good idea, very innovative and such, but I think you should put another color to indicate which of the workspaces is the one selected, since the light blue contrasts a lot (at least in night mode), thanks for your attention.

Yeah, I guess the idea there is that tabs are always part of some workspace and workspace 1 is the default workspace that we're all used to. If workspaces are set to show (enabled), then you gotta show the default one (workspace 1). That's my guess on Opera's thinking.

@Opera-Comments-Bot I was just thinking how great it would be if we could have separate sessions per work space. I would love to have different sessions for work and home.
