Can you please improve that ad blocker icon?
There are 2 features in there - ad blocking and tracking protection. But if I turn off one of them, I cannot tell the difference because that icon looks always the same, like both are turned on.
There should be 4 versions of that icon for different states.
When both are turned off.
When both are turned on.
When only tracking protection is on.
And when only ad blocker is on.

RE: Is Opera still ugly on Windows 10?Opera for Windows
@leocg I cant really check it, cause I dont have win10 installed. And you are right that its a subjective matter... but Im basicaly asking if there is an option to have colored window or if there is only white/black option.
For example like this https://winaero.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Opera-36-colorized-in-Windows-10.png
Is Opera still ugly on Windows 10?Opera for Windows
I remember Opera 36 being advertised as the most beautiful browser for Windows 10, with its colored titlebar, but then they removed this option and after that, it was the most ugly browser. And the funny thing is, that the competitors now allow colored titlebars, so its exact opposite situation now. Did they implemented it already or not?
RE: Exported Bookmarks doesnt keep thumbnail pictures?Opera for Windows
Ok, I just tested Opera 47 and it doesnt work... my bookmarks didnt even imported properly...
I will probably give up soon, cause there doesnt seem to be any solution (Recuva also didnt help), but now Im looking at https://sync.opera.com/web/ and I have there synced 12 devices, so...
Would it be somehow possible to synchronize my bookmarks to the state from older device and with this, restore also thumbnails? Do they store separate bookmarks for diferent devices? Does Sync even store thumbnails?
Exported Bookmarks doesnt keep thumbnail pictures?Opera for Windows
Ok, what I did, was probably stupid, but I did it aready, so...
Here is my problem... I decided to export all my bookmarks into html, as a backup. After that, I deleted all my bookmarks from Opera. But few days later (and after reinstalling Opera - AppData files deleted), I was in need of my bookmarks again, so I imported back my Bookmarks.html file, but it didnt keep any thumbnail pictures.
So, I was wondering... is this really supposed to work like this? Exporting without thumbnails? Isnt this just a bug, and maybe, if I was using older version of Opera, it could work? I really would like to save these thumbnails if possible. It seems, like that html file is indeed storing some icon paths... I opened it in text editor, and every bookmark does seem to have some associated icon, like this:
So, how does it work exactly? Is there still any way to restore my thumbnails?
List of opened tabs redesignSuggestions and feature requests
Hello, I would like to suggest some improvement for current feature.
Here, we have our list of opened tabs: http://s10.postimg.org/d0jv53mll/2648193248.jpg
I started to use it in some way, because if I have many opened tabs, I cant even see tab titles, cause all the tabs are shrunk. So, im using this vertical list, its better to navigate here, and there are also these previews, which are also helpful.
I could say that currently, it can be used as substitute for vertical tabs. Which is definitely plus, but even like that, its sometime slow to navigate. And thats because its a list. List of tabs, where you can hover over them with mouse, and it will give you a preview. And thats the slowdown in navigation.
So I had come up with this: http://s21.postimg.org/cjb4r4zp3/16414965146.jpg
After we press some button (it can be even that same button in the upper right) it will show up these thumbnails of opened tabs, which are much easier to navigate than from the list.
This Opera browser, is all about faster navigation... We can see this in speed dial and also in bookmark manager, where we can choose thumbnail for every bookmark for faster visual navigation. So, why not use visual navigation also for opened tabs?
Please think about this feature, it would be so helpful to have it there.
Also, can any developer give some comment on this?
"Show picture" in context menuSuggestions and feature requests
Hi, this is a feature I like in Firefox. Can it be implemented into Opera please?
See this screenshot for more info: http://s28.postimg.org/dkxz4pxfh/picture.jpg (sorry that its not in english, but its not hard to understand what i mean)
I know this works on some images, that you can right click and "open image in new tab" but its not available on all images > as you can see in the screenshot.
RE: Open in new tabSuggestions and feature requests
Not only links, but even if you want to search for something in your search providers. You should be able to:
- Click: Open in current tab
- CTRL+Click: Open in background tab + Context menu should stay for you, to be able to search also in another search providers
- CTRL+Shift+Click: Open in foreground tab
But I dont think developers will implement it...
RE: Double bookmarksOpera for Windows
Oh, I hope they will not mess it up somewhere, when they will be fixing it, cause Im actually using duplicate bookmarks, I have there some identical webpages bookmarked in different folders for organizational reasons.
It would be great if they implemented some feature, which will tell you how many times you have this specific webpage in bookmarks, and where they are located.
RE: Can I add another Speed Dial on the Speed Dial page, or somewhere else?Opera for Windows
There is native option to make 7 columns, but it depends on your screen resolution. If you have too low resolution, it cant give you more columns without zooming out.
Its hidden in advanced setting, you can set from 3 to 11 columns.
