@james438 Well, when I have a (possible) solution for an issue, I use to try to present it.
And when I have the answer to a question, I try to answer it. If my answer is that something can't be done, it may be that I know it can't be done or it may be just my opinion.

@james438 By the way, there isn't a topic or a thread explaining the changes in the video pop-out.

So I couldn't have shown you a link to it.

@leocg: You have answered/addressed almost nothing that I said.

          1. Please try to be positive/enthusiastic about Opera.
          2. If it is only your opinion that something can't be done please say so and try to present a work around/alternative solution.
          3. Try to show some understanding/empathy with those that are having trouble with some aspect of the browser.

Can you please point out the link you were referring to regarding the changes to pop out?

@james438 Try checking the comments on the posts/topics about Opera developer 66 and 67. There were some users, like you and me, discussing about it but that's all.

                1. I tend to be more realistic

                2. I express my opinion a lot. And I usually always make it kinda clear when I'm just doing it.

                3. i do. However I can't change the reality.

Hi @elspivo, enable opera:flags#enable-force-dark, restart the browser and see if it's good enough for you.

@burnout426 said in Opera 66 initial release makes it easier to reopen closed tabs and to access extensions:

@vegelund Goto the URL opera://about and take note of the "profile" path. Close Opera and open the "Preferences" file with JSONedit. Delete the "Keybindings" object. Then, under "extensions", delete the "commands" object and save your changes. Start Opera to see if the crashes go away. If so, reconfigure your shortcuts and see if they work without crashing.

Thanks! I appreciate the advice, but that’s too advanced for me. I expect a new version of a browser to work without starting to modify things.

Looks like no one else has problems with user-defined keyboard shortcuts to open sidebar extensions like V7 Notes.

Guess I’ll skip keyboard shortcuts and use Ctrl+s to open the sidebar and then click my chosen extension. It’s only one click extra.

Knowing Opera, the next version or four down the road – everything magically works again.

Ok, so it looks like I've gotten this update a couple of days late without paying attention but the video pop-out doesn't work on Twitch.tv anymore. Also, is it possible to change the highlighted address bar back to blue instead of the new purple?

Extension panel is gone. Now it is harder to use extensions in the sidebar because they are displayed only after an additional click on extension icon.
