Somehow Opera has decided to save my "User Name" for a website. How do I delete it from the browser; as I do not want it to show up when I click in the box for my user name?
Also how do I block Opera from doing this again on other sites?
I am using: version 65.0.3467.69 Update stream: Stable System: Windows 10 64-bit

Some websites do that themselves ...
Clicking on the "badge" (the globe or lock in front of the address) should get you access to everything Opera has stored relative to that website - it would have to be there somewhere. If it is Opera itself, it would be under Autofill; whereas if the website is doing it then it'll be under site data.

@sgunhouse all cookies and cache have been deleted. The user name still populates. Does Opera store a user name? If so where and how do you disable?
Also all info under autofill had been removed.

@leocg The user name is the only thing that is saved. The only thing that I can think of is to uninstall delete all remaining files and reinstall. But the question remains if I do that will Opera save the user name again, putting me back where i am now.

If you think it's coming from autofill and you've checked things in each category in
opera://settings/autofill
, you can close down Opera and delete the "Web Data" and "Web Data-journal" files in Opera's profile directory to wipe out all autofill entries. That should do the trick. Seeopera://about
for the profile path. -
