@mehradmansouri I'm pretty sure, if you connect with other VPNs or app such as 1.1.1.1 you can connect without any problem, Islamic regime blocked Opera VPNs unfortunately moreover I don't think Opera want change VPNs address because they mentioned already the VPNs probably can encounter with problems in countries like Iran

@amina2k 1.1.1.1 is name of application from cloudflare you can wrap opera with that but it has two option one option is free than it can wrap dns free and other option is wrap+ it is limited, you can only wrap 10GB bandwidth traffic
What is 1.1.1.1?I read a news Mozilla want add vpn to Firefox it seemed they used cloudflare technology instead of vpn!. I'd love Opera with free VPN but Islamic regime broke my heart

Definitely a problem with Opera VPN. It is not just Iran. I've now tried uninstalling and reinstalling Opera. The VPN is just not working.

I'm in the UK. I mentioned this in an earlier comment (2nd in the thread). I only restated it because a mod said, to paraphrase 'Well it works for me.'
There are so many reports of a now 4 day old fault with the inbuilt VPN on Opera Mobile that it is making Opera devs look incompetent when forum mods still say 'It works for us so it must be a problem on your side.'

@leocg No I didn't try with other ISPs I'm using TCI and MCI services
Opera VPN will connect by 1.1.1.1
This video can prove Opera VPNs blocked in Iran (definitely by Islamic regime) if still it is working on other ISPs they will close very soon internet.ir has page asked the users report all VPNs and proxies!, etc -

@leocg Opera VPN on desktop works fine. Opera VPN on mobile over the same ISP does not work and has not worked even though the data cache has been cleared, the browser has been uninstalled then reinstalled and the device restarted multiple times.
This started for me 4 or 5 days ago, as per with others with the same issue. I am in the UK, not Iran, not UAE and not China etc.. but the UK. My ISP is Virgin Media.
I originally thought the issue might have been caused by my adjusting the time on my tablet by setting it forward for game cheating purposes. Evidently this was an erroneous thought.
I believe the issue is with the VPN.
