Tested, interesting logic, but it depends heavily from css tags naming into the pages; so it seems unable to work seamlessly on 100% of pages, and fails on entire pages (e.g., google search), or on pages parts (backgrounds of some text areas, some dark text goes unreadable...) or bits (any part that have a non standard css tag name associated).

I add that, enabling the extension on a wikipedia pages, the citation tooltips backgrounds become transparent, impairing the reading, while disabling it thei return normal.

I installed it but there is no "Toolbar popup UI" - nothing to click.

Recent versions of Opera have put all extensions onto a menu. Click the button to the right of the address field that looks like a 3-D box or cube and it should be there.

Could do with per-page options as it is a global setting that can break other pages.

Doesn't work with chrome when you search or the opera extension page, but at least it inst just a lazy invert.

@extraordinarilycrazy Extensions are normally disabled for search pages, you may have to go to the Extensions tab and enable it.
