@tdbarnard In opera://flags there is an option to enable Chromium UA.

Another option is to specify the user-agent string you want on the command line.

        Example:

        "C:\Program Files\Opera\launcher.exe" "--user-agent=Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/76.0.3809.132 Safari/537.36"

You can do that in a command prompt or you can modify the command for Opera's shortcut.

Another option is to install an extension that does it. https://addons.opera.com/en/search/?query=user-agent for example. The plus side to using an extension is that a lot of them allow you to specify a modified user agent for specific sites (as opposed to all sites).

Yes you can make opera identity itself as another browser, follow this step.

            • Open Opera browser and click on Ctrl + Shift and I key to go to Developer Tools.

            • in the Menu option click on the 3 vertical dots

            • select More tools > Network Conditions

            • navigate to network condition and then disable the option to Select automatically

            • now Click on the Custom list and select your desired user agent.

Second Option is to use this User Agent Switcher Addon https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/user-agent-switcher/

            😄
            Kings.

It was easier in previous versions of Opera where there was this option in the right clock menu, except they eliminated it, now you have to add an extension or jump through hoops to do this. In Opera 12, you could do this that worked JUST for that particular site, and went back to normal for other websites. THAT was much nicer.

@toomakesense It is better to use https://add0n.com/useragent-switcher.html (top right corner) this is still supported and has recently been updated.

Fantastic extension and easy to use. And also available for Firefox and Waterfox.

@dany1980 Replying to (more than) one year old topics is something you should avoid doing on forums as if your life depends on it.
