@sgunhouse Scrolling doesn't appear to be an option. I can see all the items in the folder in the bookmarks section, but that's it. I can add a new one by right clicking and putting in the address, but it won't display on the screen. It will show up in the folder though.
So clearly everything is working except the part where they all display.

@sgunhouse I understand, yeah there's no way to scroll, nothing is there. ugh

I should probably also note that I'm no longer able to open links by clicking on them on pages. I have to right-click to 'open in new tab' to get it to work. I have no idea why.

@Arbiter61 It's a totally different issue, so please open a new topic to discuss it.

Hi @Arbiter61 did you manage to resolve this? I've got the same two problems?

I'd download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", make sure the "install path" is set to your existing install so that you can do an upgrade, adjust the checkboxes and upgrade. That should repair any corrupted program files.
If that doesn't work, ...
Are all your bookmarks and speed dials showing up at sync.opera.com?
If so, you could:
Goto the URL
opera://about
and take note of the "profile" path.Close down Opera and rename the profile folder to "Old Opera Stable".
Start Opera and sign in to Opera Sync.
Does that at least get them back?
If so, you'd just have to set some of your settings again and reinstall your extensions.
Another option you can try, but with your existing profile folder is:
Goto the URL
opera://bookmarks
and export all your bookmarks. Then, close Opera. In the profile folder, rename "Bookmarks", "Bookmarks.bak" and "BookmarksExtras" (add "off-" to the beginning of their filenames).
Start Opera. (Opera will see that your bookmarks are gone and might wipe them out from the sync server).
Goto
opera://bookmarks
and import your bookmarks.Does that work?
If not, you could just close down Opera and rename the "Preferences" file in the profile folder and start Opera back up. If it's fixed then, you know the file is the issue. You'd then close down Opera and put that file back as the new one will cause you do lose your extensions. Once the old one is because, you could use JSONedit to examine the file to see if you can find the setting that's messed up. You could also do the same thing with the "Local State" file. Just make a whole copy of your profile folder first as a backup before you mess with things.
