Your member name and member picture give the impression that your contributions are authorized by Opera. Is that true?
There are probably thousands of browser extensions. Are you going to open a separate thread for each of them, or what are the criteria for your selection?
It has been discovered that the SaveFrom.net Helper extension is not trustworthy, and it has been blocked by Google (and also by Mozilla).

Actually, they are making it so that all comments posted to an extension automatically duplicate into a forum thread on that extension. So yes, any extension that has a comment will have a thread. (And yes, Opera-comments-bot is a bot - a program - and obviously will not read or reply to any comments.)

@sgunhouse And, as I see now, all comments posted here are duplicated into the extension's page comments. I didn't know that, and I wasn't expecting it either. I'm not happy with it.

Should I uninstall the extension as recommended? Secondly, should I change all my passwords and get a new debit card? Should I have been alerted by Opera if my data was compromised? Also, are there any good alternatives to the extension?

Hello, deleting an extension is unnecessary. We are not engaged in data collection.

Hello, you can find our extension in Mozilla’s add-ons store. The articles mentioned below provide information about SaveFrom.net Helper compared with other extensions. SaveFrom.net Helper has never collected any kind of sensitive data including any personal or payment information, so there is no reason to delete the extension.

@Opera-Comments-Bot Love the extension and unlike all the others I tried it really does work. Just click the green button by youtube video and done. BUT 2 thinks would improve it greatly. 1. Allowing me to chose where to store it vs download folder with no way to change it. 2. A choice of video quality although not a big deal. Thanks for great app

Нельзя скачать с Ютуб.
В Яндекс предлагает воспользоваться Ummy, но оно тоже отказывается.
В Гугл "не удалось определить размер файла".
